- Excellent overall on-line protection from lightning, surges and spikes with 120 dB common mode, 70 dB transverse mode noise attenuation, far surpassing IEEE 578 category B guide specs for surge suppression. The extremely low inner winding coupling capacitance (.01 pf) prohibits any fast rise time wave forms from being coupled to the load
- NEMA 2 & 3R enclosures for extreme environmental conditions
- Phenomenal non-linear load capability. Oversizing the UPS to run switch mode power supplies is not necessary because of the UPS’s 3.5:1 crest factor capability
- Efficiency that pays for itself. Because the units are 85% to 87% efficient, very little heat is produced, operating cost is minimized and additional ventilation is not normally required
- Broad input voltage range. The ferroresonant transformer corrects for all variations including sags, spikes, surges and brownouts without the need to consume battery power. This assures longer battery life and backup power when you really need it
- Corrects for load generated poor power factor. Corrects to 0.95 approaching unity, even if the load power factor is 0.6
- Corrects for load generated odd current harmonics. Up to 400% at the input of the UPS. This protects the customer’s building transformer and wiring from current harmonic overheating
- Realtime monitoring system improves management of UPS operations, thus increasing critical load reliability and up-time
- High reliability with MTBF of 100,000 hours
